Answer: We used it to clear away a ton of pine needles from our enclosed rock garden outside shower; worked fine; lot of horsepower

Answer: the blue cloth is for dry only with the foam filter and for wet you remove the blue cloth filter and the disposable bags we do recommend them just in case small particle dust comes out of the blower port

Answer: Well, it's pretty loud, swooshing air; cats don't care for it but I really don't mind; use it in stduio in house; I would never say that anything vibrates, however; just louder than our vacuum.

Answer: Try a bag from Home Depot.

Answer: The disposable bag is for dry only, we recommend the disposable bag for use, For dry use also you want to use the blue reusable bag and the foam filter underneath it with the clamp ring or if you have the cartridge filter, you can use that for wet and dry use.
Answer: If you're vacuuming wet stuff no. It'll destroy the disposable bag. It'll operate with just the foam filter. That's the only way I use it anyway. It easier for me to just dump the trash out of the can directly. Good luck.

Answer: I specifically bought this to use in a carpeted room where I have my cats' litter box. They track litter on the rug and of course there's the usual cat hair problem. The vacuum does a good job of sucking it all up, but you have to clean the filter frequently. All in all it works well for the price.

Answer: Well when you turn on the suction it'll blow out the back but that's the design of the motor and vice versa if you put it on the blower the suction will still suck in as well. It's just normal and it's the design of the motor
Answer: You can’t. Air has to escape any vacuum or else it would blow up. It’s an exhaust. The shop vac engineers designed a system where the air flow could be used as a blower and the air that comes out of the blower has been filtered.

Answer: In the box, it is the standard hose. Stanley still not release the offical alternative hose yet.

Answer: Dear customer, the disposable filter bag (paper bag) is used when you clean the small dry dust only. When you clean the wet dust, please do not use it. You can not use the garbage because of the disposable bag it can allow the air to go through it, but the garbage can not let the air go through it. The disposable bag is not a must when you use this cleaner.
Answer: I would recommend using one ones they sent., you can buy alot more from Amazon. Just when ordering you make sure it's the right size for that vac. ie in gallons.

Went from a shopvac to this. Its definitely no shop vac but should work for light applications. Hose and power cord are too short. The hose end came off after a few uses but screws back on. It works ok, but would recommend getting a vac with a 2 1/2" hose if you want to use it in a shop or garage setting.

I purchased this Shop vac on December 5, 2020. I use it about once a week at most, to pick up small bits of leaves and spiderwebs around the outside of my house. At any given time I have it running for 5 minutes only. Today while cleaning small leaves at the edge of the garage foundation and cement driveway, smoke began billowing out of the motor housing and I turned it off immediately. There was no obstruction in the hose or nozzle. Additionally, I was using the reusable filter and after allowing the vacuum to cool off, I opened the can and found the filter properly in place. Unfortunately, the motor was dead.
The instruction manual advises to send it Batavia, Illinois but I think that will cost at least half of the purchase price. Just call me: Extremely Dissatisfied Stanley Owner.
